Getting the Word Out

I really need some help with this page. How could we get the word out without breaking the law ourselves? I am not talking about screaming the persons name from a rooftop. I am simply talking about letting people know that there is a predator in the community, fest, etc etc to ensure that he cannot practice his trade on another un-expecting victim.

So far these are just my opinions. If you have things to add please let us know.

For Festivals, Gathering events etc. this is easy. Advise the organizers and/or security immediately or this persons activities. The event security will investigate and should do what is appropriate. This might include ejecting the person from the event as well and/or contacting the police etc.

It gets a little more complicated when it comes to communities. An innocent person name may be dragged across the ground and he would never be able to clear it. I am not saying not to do nothing about it. On the Contrary I believe you should contact the police and a rape crisis center.

It gets easier when we are talking about how to get the word out on predators behaviour. Many people have started sending in behaviour patterns etc. With this information we could do a few things.

1. Make a Handout we could pass out to new people in our community. This could include safety tips and contact information.
   
2. We could form a group of people that go into universities, colleges etc. and give a workshop on what we consider is appropriate and what we consider is not. This would have to be a meld of different people in our communities.
   
3. Send people to this page to find out what is appropriate and what is not according to multiple members of the Community.
   
4. We can get people to get involved in Pagan Peers in their area creating a safe way for people to meld into their respective communities.
   
5. Give workshops on Ethics at Festivals & Events so people learn what is appropriate and what is not. What to do if you do not feel comfortable with an advance etc.
