~I'M NEARLY DROWNING IN MY SLEEP~
~SO MANY PROMISES I CAN'T KEEP~
~I ALWAYS SAID I WOULD NEVER LIE~
~I ALWAYS SAID I WOULD SOONER DIE~
~I'M SORRY I LED YOU ALONG~
~I'M SORRY FOR SINGING MY SIRENS SONG~
~WHAT GOOD IS THIS REMORSE~
~IT WILL NOT ALTER OUR COURSE~
~TEARS WASH OVER ME LIKE A SALTY OCEAN WAVE~
~WHILE ANOTHERS TOUCH IS ALL I CRAVE~

My Response

by Pagan Owl Dec. 21, 2006

Call to me my siren.
I will not stray.
Just tell me the truth
It's the best way.

Show me you love me.
Hold me so tight.
And I'll be with you
Till morning light.

Now morn is on us
Sea calls your name.
Till sun sets tonight
I'll go insane.

Now back to the sea.
One splash, one wave.
Now out of my sight
My love so brave.

Now I'm sitting here
Look out to see.
I wait for the dusk
Come love to me.

The sun sets once more
She walks to me.
I know in the morn
Returns to the sea.
