Tie a cord or as many as needed to represent the persons or things to an anchor such as an altar, a tree a candle stand, whatever, and, visualize each as one by one you cut the cords. This is symbolic; to help your mind to separate whatever impedes it.
To achieve objectives:
Braiding: take as many cords as needed, starting with three is best, and tie them at one end, anchoring them to some object. Begin braiding, visualizing with each cord whatever goals you would like to achieve or energies you would like to bring into your life. You can say them aloud if it helps. This helps you to focus your aims and objectives.
