The reason I decided to create and do this ritual is simple. In the past few years I was Married and Divorced and still the links to my ex wife are still there. With this ritual I hope to cut the final energy strings that connect our hearts so we can both go in our own directions and find peace.
By entering it on this page I hope that it may be useful to others in healing after the end of a relationship.
This can be performed with the two people there or only one by simple modifications.

South: “Power of the Cougar, we call you to be witness to this parting. Be a guide for (name) and myself and lend us your Courage and Strength to get accomplished what we must.”
East: “Power of the Bear, we call you to be witness to this parting. Be a guide for (name) and myself and lend us your Strength and Patience to be reborn again as you are in spring.”
North: “Power of the Seal, we call you to be witness to this parting. Be a guide for (name) and myself and lend us your knowledge of Family & Community to rebuild our own.”
Center: “Power of Magic, Spirit of beginnings and endings, we call you to be witness to this parting. Bless (name) and I as we close the door of the past and open the doors to our futures.”
It is my wish to finalize our separation and cut all links that still holds us in place and stops us from moving on in Harmony & Peace.
I wish to severe all psychic links that still hold me to (name) and (name) to me.
At this point I ask (name) to help me visualize the separation of our heart Chakras.”

After that is done I take the Scissors and cut the ribbon in two between our names. I light my candle and get (guide) to light (name).
“My life will never be the same because everything we do in life affects who we are. We walked the same path for a while and now our paths continue in different directions as we reach this fork in the road.
Today we return to having separate lives. I will carry the happy memories in my mind and will leave the bad behind. I am leaving here in peace and wish the same for you on your journey.

I blow out the middle candle. I burn the things that were us like the photo and T-Shirt.

I take my candle towards the East and get someone to take (name) candle towards the west. This person can dispose of his/her candle as he/she wishes.
